History & Mission: |
The Rochester Bach Festival celebrated the music of J.S. Bach and other Baroque composers. The 40-voice Bach Festival Chorus performed a multi-concert festival each year. The Festival also sponsored instrumental concert series, and educational and community outreach performances.
The Rochester Bach Festival, which was the city's oldest early-music organization, suspended much of its 2005-2006 season due to a cash crunch. No activity of the festival is known after 2007. |
