Wenn wir in hoechsten Noethen sein
Und wissen nicht, wo aus und ein,
Und finden weder Huelf' noch Rath,
Ob wir gleich sorgen frueh und spaet,
So ist das unser Trost allein,
Dass wir zusammen insgemein
Anrufen dich, du treuer Gott,
Um Rettung aus der Angst und Noth.

Gdaż nas biada dojmująca zacienia,
nie znamy skąd ma przyjść a kędy nama
szukać porady, dopomożenia,
czy późna bądź wczesna umartwienia
godzina, jednąć bywa nasza troska,
iżbyśmy my wszytki w naszej wspólnocie
Ciebie, u Którego wszak lojalności krocie,
o zbawienie z biedy prosili, mocy boska.
