The Italian soprano, Monica Correnti, made language studies at the Scuola per Interpreti di Trieste, she studied singing with Stella Doz.
Monica Correnti's interest interest in Renaissance and Baroque music has ledt her to participate in various ensembles, including the Accademia Musicale Universitaria of Trieste, Vox Hesperia' of Bologna, Ramovs Consort of Lubiana, Hesperimenta Vocal Ensemble of Arezzo and in duo with the organist and harpsichordist Marco Rossi.
Monica Correnti has appeared frequently in the programs of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI collaborating with Athestis Chorus and the choir R.Maghini'of Turin. She was soprano soloist with ensemble Polivox of Gorizia, that is dedicated to Renaissance polyphony and jazz, vocal a cappella vocal. She took part in the 1st interpreting Lieder laboratory with Laura Antonaz and A.Tenaglia in 2002 at Villa Varda (Pn) and the "Bach Project 2003" (Vicenza, October 2003) under the direction of Michael Radulescu (motets). She participated in singing workshops with Serge Wilfart in Perugia in 2002 and in Milan in 2003. She has recorded for KRM-Lubiana, Fonè and Tactus. |
