Thomas Herberich (Bass-Baritone)

Born: Germany

The German bass-baritone, Thomas Herberich, studied at Bischöflich-Kirchemusikalischen Institute in Speyer. After finishing his studies he operated as organist and choir conductor in the Ludwigshafen area. He studied singing privately with Birgitta Seidler-Winkler. He specialized in singing and opera school at the Music College of Cologne with Professor Dr. Franz Müller-Heuser.

Thomas Herberich’s emphasis is situated in the oratorio, where he has successfully proved himself for 14 years now. Concerts in Germany and abroad, including Israel, Japan, Canada and Spain document the way of the much sought-after singer. His repertoire covers all the great oratorios and Bach’s Bach passions, Masses and Cantatas. He has also proved himself in the area of Lieder singing recitals.
