Founded in 2011, the JSB Ensemble is an International Choir and Orchestra - Johann Sebastian Bach, consists of young choral singers and instrumentalists between the ages of 18 and 28.
Since 2011, a special international orchestra and choir from over twenty countries has been drawn together for the Bachwoche Stuttgart each year, the “Junges Stuttgarter Bach Ensemble” (JSB Ensemble). A particular emphasis is placed on the works of J.S. Bach. With its combination of scholarly work and practical music-making, the Bachwoche Stuttgart is a unique week of study, bringing together vocal and instrumental tutors, scholars, artists, students and an interested audience. Young people from around the world grow together under the guidance of experienced teachers to form a high-class ensemble that presents the Bachwoche Stuttgart under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann and undertakes international concert tours.
Two weeks with Hans-Christoph Rademann, the new Director of the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart - working, practising and performing! Hans-Christoph Rademann, a renowned J.S. Bach connoisseur and master of sound has not only chosen two cantatas of the old master for 2015 year's focus “Passion - Easter - Ascension” but also two precious oratorios full of images, emotions and virtuosity placing the highest demands on listening to each other. Combining theory and practice will play just as important a role as the challenge of blending into a unified ensemble during rehearsals. |
