The Italian conductor, Giorgio Brenna, completed his studies at the Conservatorio G. Verdi in Milan, where he studied with Luigi Molfino and Giancarlo Parodi. He holds diplomas in piano, organ and organ composition, choral music, and choral conducting.
A versatile musician, Giorgio Brenna ranges across a wide range of musical genres: from classical chamber music to jazz, from pop music to classical polyphonic choral music.
In 1990, he founded the choir Insieme Vocale Discanto - now the Discanto Vocal Ensemble - a classical chamber music ensemble that he still directs. He has performed numerous concerts in Italy and abroad with the choir, and has received significant recognition in several national choral competitions.
