Maximilano Bustíos Gutiérrez (Baritone)

Born: Santiago, Chile

The Chilean baritone, Maximiliano Bustíos Gutiérrez, studied at the Universidad de Chile (since 2015). He has studied with mezzo-soprano Claudia Godoy (2015-2018), and baritone Patricio Sabaté (2019-present). He has participated as an active student in master-classes by Ahlke Scheffelt (2016) and Christian Senn (2018 and 2019).

In adition, Maximiliano Bustíos has sung in different choral Works like: Johannes Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem (2014), Antonín Dvořák's Mass in D Major (2015) and Antonín Dvořák's Stabat Mater (2017) to name a few. He performed as Arab in the production of Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story by Musical UC, staged by Ramón Gutiérrez (November 2015). He also sang the role of Belcore in Gaetano Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore with Orquesta de estudiantes de la facultad de artes de la Universidad de Chile, conducted by Eduardo Browne, staged by Diego Belmar (2018). In 2024, he also performed in the cantata series Bach Santiago. He currently lives in Santiago, Chile.
