The Brazilian organist, choral conductor, composeer and arranger Gílson Celerino, went to Colégio Boa Viagem (Class of 2001); obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from FBV - Faculdade de Boa Viagem (Class of 2003); obtained his degree in Music from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Classof 2005); studied organ, choral conducting and sacred music at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover.
Gílson Celerino has been organist and musician at Paróquia Nossa Senhora das Candeias in Jaboatão dos Guararapes; Professor at CCBA - Centro Cultural Brasil Alemanha (August 2012-January 2016); Musician - Conductor at Arquidiocese de Olinda e Recife (May 2019-April 2020); Musician - Organist at Paróquia Nossa Senhora da Soledade Recife (since 2016); Professor at CCBA - Centro Cultural Brasil Alemanha in Recife (since July 2018). He is director of Ensemble Vocal Cantamus and currently lives in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. |
