The Austrian bass and counter-tenor, Roland Faust, studied at Musisches Gymnasium Salzburg and singing at the Salzburg Mozarteum. Since the age of 6 he has been singing in various choirs, such as the Salzburger Domchor, the Salzburger Bachchor and the Landestheater-Chor Salzburg. He continued his studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, Switzerland (since 2016).
At the Salzburg Festival Roland Faust participated in Hugo von Hofmannsthal's Jedermann (July-August 2011), as well as in concerts and opera performances. He is a member of La Pedrina (Director: Francesco Saverio Pedrini). |
