The Dutch tenor, Pablo Gregorian, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences Cum Laude (2005-2008); his Bachelor of Science degre in Physics Cum Laude (2008-2011); his Master of Science degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics (2011-2014); and his Master of Science degree in Geophysics and Seismology Cum Laude (2011-2015) - all from Utrecht University. There he began singing in the Utrechts Studenten Koor en Orkest (USKO) and and much has changed in his life. He is now studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium (Royal Conservatory) in The Hague for Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice and Opera (since 2015; expected graduation: 2020).
Pablo Gregorian is am now fully in the process of learning to use his voice in a conscious way. He began performing as a soloist in various concerts. In 2018 he sang Haydn's Nelson Mass (solo) with Collegium Musicum Traiectum; Guerrero and Sweelinck (ensemble) with Camerata Oude Kerk; De La Rue and Josquin (ensemble) with Ensemble Hieronymus; Program of 16-17th century music (ensemble) with Ensemble Hieronymus; W.A. Mozart's Requiem (solo) with Kamerkoor Ad Parnassum; Dvorak's mass in D (solo) with COV Bennekom; New cantata in Bach style: Jauchzet dem Herrn by J. Boysen (solo) with Musica Poetica; Purcell and George Frideric Handel (solo) with Maite Cathérine de Wit and Anamaria Stamp; Purcell's 'Hail! Bright Cecilia' (ensemble) with Koninklijk Conservatorium. In 2019: Georg Philipp Telemann's Brockes-Passion, TWV 5:1 (solo) with Apollo Ensemble (Director: David Rabinovich).
In addition to touching people with singing, Pablo Gregorian also wants to develop himself in a broader area and to actively transfer his enthusiasm for the music to his generation. Last Christmas holiday he was able to take a first step here as a volunteer at the USKO rehearsal camp. The fact that he can now develop this way in the field of singing is partly due to the very welcome support that he has received from Stichting Eigen Muziekinstrument. He currently lives in Rustenburg/Oostbroek, South Holland Province, the Netherlands. |
