The Russian organist, pianist and choral conductor, Dmitri Grigoriev, studied organ and piano after private lessons at the Conservatories in St. Petersburg and Kazan, where he completed his studies in 2007 with the state organ concert exam. Since then, he has lived in Germany. Since 2004 he has been studying at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Herford. His C degree was recognized in Germany and so he was able to start the B and finally the A degree. In 2010 he successfully completed his A-level studies. As part of a concert, he took his concert exam in organ improvisation/liturgical organ playing on July 6, 2018 at St. Clemens, Rheda, allowing him to actively participate in national and international public concert life.
From January to March 2012, Dmitri Grigoriev served as church Kantor on as substitute basis in Vertretung - in the Evangelische Kirchen-Gemeinde in Bielefeld-Sennestadt. In August 2012, he began working as Kantor and organist in the Evangelischen Versöhnungskirchengemeinde Lüdenscheid and as Kreiskantor (District Kantor) in the Evangelische Kirchenkreis Lüdenscheid-Plettenberg. In 2014, he was appointed organ expert by the Evangelische Kirche von Westfalen (Evangelical Church of Westphalia). He performs as an organist and pianist with various soloists and regularly gives organ concerts at home and abroad. |
