Gustav Hehring (Bass)

Born: Germany

The German bass, Gustav Hehring, is in demand and successful concert singer for many years for performance in many European countries, broadcasting corporations and at intentional festivals. His big voice and his control of all kinds of styles, enable him to have a wide repertoire from the Baroque to the Avant-garde. He has performed at important venues most big bass parts from opera and oratorio and has given numerous Lieder and ballad recitals.

Gustav Hehring has appeared in concerts under conductors as Ferdinand Leitner, Neville Marriner, Rudolf Kelber, William Brückner-Rüggeberg, Jürgen Jürgens, Heribert Beissel and Karlheinz Stockhausen. Just as Rachel Harnisch and Kathrin Hildebrandt, he appeared several times with the Freiburger Kammerchor and the Freiburger Kammerorchester under Klaus Hövelmann.
