The Chinese pianist, Junhong Jiang, began learning piano at the age of 5. He has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in both China and the USA. After receiving his diploma from Xinghai Conservatory of Music High School, he began his studies at the Boston Conservatory in September 2012. Here, he has performed as part of The Boston Conservatory Honors Quartet and Hemenway Strings, and also in various other solo capacities. In 2016, he obtained there his Bachelor of Music degree under the tutelage of Max Levinson. He obtained his Artist Diploma from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (August 2016-2019), where he also served during this period as Piano Associate Instructor and Choral rehearsal pianist. Since August 2019, he studies for Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at University of Illinois School of Music; also studies Composition. |
