The French soprano, Jeanne-Marie Lelièvre began her music studies with the viola and discovered singing at the choir school of Notre Dame de Chartres. At the same time, she studied voice with Isabelle Poulenard, Anne Constantin, and Anne-Marguerite Werster. In September 2015, she joined the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class of Rosa Domínguez, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in June 2018 and completed her Master's degree in Performance in September 2020.
During her studies, Jeanne-Marie Lelièvre had the opportunity to work with Jörg Andreas Bötticher, Andrea Marcon, Hopkinson Smith, Margreet Honig, Paul Tripels, and Marc Mauillon. She sings with numerous ensembles as a chorister or soloist, including: the Ensemble Athénais (Director: Laurence Pottier), La Cetra Barockorchester Basel & Vokalensemble Basel (Directors: Andrea Marcon, Federico Sepulveda), Sthélios (Director: Nicolas Vener), Ars Humana (Director: Laura Alvarado), an ensemble that reached the finals of the Göttingen Handel Competition, Locatelli (Director: Thomas Chigioni), and Dein Bildnis, a piano-vocal duo with Laura Granero.
In September 2019, Jeanne-Marie Lelièvre participated alongside Laura Granero in an experimental concert on melodrama and historical interpretation as part of the Schumann Days at the "Les voix de Royaumont" festival.
