Silvia Moroder (Soprano)

Born: South Tyrol, Austria

The Austrian soprano, Silvia Moroder, was already a multiple prize winner at the state and national competition "Jugend Musiziert" at a young age. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Singing from the Mozarteum Salzburg (2016-2012), where she studed with Professor Elisabeth Wilke.

As a soloist in the field of church music, Silvia Moroder has sung at the Festspiele der Alten Musik Innsbruck and at the Carl Orff Festspielen Andechs, among others. She is also a member of the BachWerkVokal Salzburg (Director: Gordon Safari). In the role of the Elf, she shared the stage with Isabel Karajan in Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream in production of University Mozarteum (June 2018). She also sang the role of Serpina in Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's La serva padrona at the Salzburger Marionettentheater and the role of Liesl in Michael Haydn's Der Bassgeiger zu Wörgl. In autumn 2019 she played the role of Pippi in the opera Pippi Langstrumpf by Urban Östlund.
