Barokconsort Musica Aeterna (Baroque Consort)

Founded: The Netherlands

Barokconsort Musica Aeterna is part of the Stichting Musica Aeterna. This foundation aims to promote classical music in the region. It wants to make high-quality classical music accessible to a wider audience.

The Baroque Orchestra was founded by two passionate musicians: Hans Houtman, Artistic Director of the Stichting Musica Aeterna and Ania Katynska, cellist, who have given many concerts for the foundation in recent years. The focus is mainly on accompanying vocal ensembles and oratorio choirs, but is also suitable for giving chamber music.
