The American bass, Eric Powell, graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where he studied with Dr. Marilyn Taylor.
After several years in New York City performing a wide range of music - from contemporary premieres and jazz and swing to church music and the occasional country gig - Eric Powell recently returned to the Winston-Salem area. Known for his musical versatility and collaborative spirit, Eric is glad to be making music close to home again and is especially happy to join Winston-Salem Choral Artists (Director: Christopher Gilliam). |
