Zsófia Ritzl (Soprano)

Born: Hungary

The Hungarian soprano, Zsófia Anna Ritzl, Ritzl began her musical journey studying both piano and violin at the Nádasdy Kálmán Alapfokú Művészeti Iskola in Budapest. She was awarded 2nd place in the II. Korcsoport at the Hormai József Regionális Énekverseny, and performing at its culminating Gala Evening in late 2025 Her recognition at this event earned her a prestigious performance opportunity with the Dunakeszi Szimfonikus Zenekar. Building on her vocal talents, she successfully advanced to compete in the Országos Énekverseny hosted by the Bartók Béla Zeneművészeti Szakgimnázium.

Zsófia Ritzl is an accomplished young talented Hungarian soprano based in Budapest. She performs actively within the local classical, sacred, and operatic scenes, frequently appearing with ensembles such as the William Byrd Singers and the Presto Chamber Ensemble. She has performed as a soprano soloist in major J.S. Bach cantatas (including BWV 192, BWV 68, and BWV 1149) and Henry Purcell's sacred music at the Szent Imre Plébánia in Budapest.
