Having relocated to New York City with his family in his early teens, Ignacio began refining his technique while attending the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and studying with the great Federico Vasquez, a disciple of the legendary Cuban master, Albert Blain.
In 2006, Ignacio Rodriguez went into Cyclone Sound studios in New York City and recorded a collection of his favorite compositions, including works by the Brazilian Heitor Villa-Lobos, Francisco Tarrega and J.S. Bach |
