Sara Sarroca (Soprano)

Born: Vilaseca, Catalonia, Spain

The Catalan soprano, Sara Sarroca, obtained her Licence in Biotecnology from Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2007-2011); her Master's Degree in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona (2011-2012); her Bachelor of Music degree in Singing from Conservatori Superior del Liceu (2016-2020). She also attended the "Màster en Lied Victoria de los Ángeles" program of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona (September 2021-September 2022).

Sara Sarroca has participated in Nutrigenomics Research Group at Universitat Rovira i Virgili under Research Collaboration Scholarship (September 2010-July 2011); and at Barcelona Institute for Biomedical Research (IIBB-CSIC): as Trainee Student (December 2011-December 2012) and as PhD Student (January 2013-October 2016). She is Choir Singer at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona (since September 2022) and a member of Bach Collegium Barcelona (since 2018; Director: Pau Jorquera). She currently lives in Barcelona.
