Anna Trotta (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: July 16, 1988 - Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

The Italian mezzo-soprano, Anna Trotta, studied opera singing at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Vecchi-Tonelli in Modena under the guidance of Katja Lytting. She won 1st Prize (with Maria Francesca Rossi) at the Concorso Internazionale di Canto Lirico “Milton Marelli” (April 2024); 2nd Prize at the 7th Concorso Internazionale San Colombano, section of sacred music (October 2024); and Special prize from the Fondazione "Ruggero Leoncavallo", lyrical section. In May 2024, she sang in Oxford at the concert in collaboration with the Rotary Club Oxford North. In June 2024, she made her debut as Angelina in Rossini's Cenerentola at the Teatro Regio di Parma.
