The Indonesian pianist, Fasbi Yusuf, born and raised in Central Java to a non-musical family, holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and is pursuing a master’s degree at Conservatorium Maastricht. He is an awardee of the American Protégé and Indonesia Piano Competition.
Fasbi Yusuf actively performs internationally. He founded Classical Music On The House, a concert series where it highlights solo and small-ensemble performances; emphasizing on individual artistry. He is also associated with Nefelibata New Music Collective, Zuyd Baroque Ensemble, and Maastricht Kamerorkest, collaborating frequently with singers, composers, and conductors. He has performed as soloist with Classical Hugs Orchestra, Yayasan Musik Jakarta Orchestra, and Volare Chamber Orchestra, and has appeared at venues including Carnegie Hall and The British Embassy in Jakarta. Passionate about chamber music, he has participated in Apple Hill, Zodiac, and Jakarta International Summer Music Festivals. He is currently based in Maastricht, the Netherlands. |
