The American pianist, teacher, and composer, Anne Hull, studied piano at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore (teacher's certificate, 1907; artist's diploma, 1913).
Anne Hull toured as a duo-pianist with Mary Howe from 1920 to 1935. She taught at the Institute of Musical Art from 1942 to 1946, and at the Juilliard Graduate School in New York from 1946 to 1968. Her best-known work was Ancient Ballad for 2 Pianos. |
