The French cellist, Louise Audubert, spent her childhood in Madrid and began the the cello at adolescence, She won various awards with honors in cello, chamber music and musicology at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris (Baroque cello class of Christophe Coin and B. Cocset), at the Centre de Formation de l'Abbaye aux Dames de Saintes (classical cello class of A. Zweistra), and at the Conservatoires Régionaux de Boulogne-Billancourt et de Poitiers. She attended master-classes with A. Meunier, C. Giardelli, J.G. Queyras, V. Aimard, D. Simpson, B. Mate, X. Gagnepain, J.-M. Gamard, J. Morsches. She won of several competitions and foundations (Jeunes Talents, Lion’s Club, J. Brizard, J. Tartier, Fondation de France).
Louise Audubert plays in various formations (Opéra de Limoges, Orchestre Poitou-Charentes, La Sinfonie Bohémienne, Jeune Orchestre Atlantique, Les Pléiades, Maîtrises de Caen et d’Ile-de-France, Ensemble Les Muses Galantes, Ensemble William Bird, Laudantes Consort, La Cavatine....) and under the direction of conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, O. Sallaberger, Robert Levin, Christopher Hogwood, Jos van Immerseel, which have led her to attend some festivals, including Saintes in particular.
Holder of Masters of Musicology and Spanish at the Université de la Sorbonne-Paris IV, Louise Audubert obtained there, with the highest award, the degree of Doctor of History of Spain with a thesis on the Renaissance. In other fields, Louise Audubert was in charge of production for several years of the Festival delle Crete Senesi (Director: Philippe Herreweghe, Toscane) and director of the Association Euterpia (Paris). Since 2006, she coordinates the musical seasons of the Ensemble Les Muses Galantes, of which she is the founder and cellist.
After teaching for more than ten years cello and musical training on the one hand (Conservatoire du Centre, Ville de Paris, history and Spanish on the other (Universités de Paris-Sorbonne et de Créteil, schools work shops and preparatory), while continuing her musical activities (continuo, soloist, chamber musician and orchestral), research (scientific scholarships and academic conferences) and manager, Louise Audubert decided in 2016, following a car accident, to cease most of its activities to devote herself fully to the practice of her instrument. She plays on a cello 'François Pillement' from 1780.
The music of J.S. Bach never having left both her musical and human journey, Louise Audubert launched in 2010 "La Cantate des Muses" complete Cantatas of the Kantor by Ensemble Les Muses Galantes performed one Saturday a month at the Église des Billettes (Paris 4e). Great lover of travel backpack and the rich artistic heritage of the 17th and 18th centuries, she is constantly exploring with curiosity and passion paths of early music both by a demanding musical aesthetics and simplicity approach of the public. |
