The Orchestra Sinfonica G. Rossini is the orchestra of the Italian province of Pesaro e Urbino (PU) and has been acknowledged by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activity.
Created in 2001 and selected ny Maestro Alberto Zedda, Orchestra Sinfonica G. Rossini was one of the main orchestras at the Rossini Opera Festival 2011 in Pesaro. The ever increasing activity of the orchestra now presents over 80 performances per year both in Italy and abroad.. The Orchestra is the orchestra of reference in Pesaro (Teatro Rossini and Rocca Costanza), Fano (Teatro de la Fortuna and Corte Malastestiana), Urbino (Teatro Raffaello Sanzio), Cagli (Teatro Comunale), Mercatello and Metauro (concert season Musica& Musica) and in many other theatres of the province of Pesaro e Urbino. |
