The Art Vocal Ensemble was created in 2015 with the aim of providing a new vision of the repertoire and musical interpretation, and with the vocal element as the main axis of all its productions, whether in a cappella format, symphonic choral, opera, participatory projects or seminars on interpretation, vocal technique and choral direction. They have a stable vocal and instrumental group formed by a group of professional musicians and people linked to the world of music and enthusiasts of choral singing, enthusiastic about a project from which they aim to open new repertoires to the general public. As for the a cappella repertoire, works have been performed that cover the most representative periods in the history of music, from authors such as Flecha, Monteverdi, da Viadana or Antonio Lotti, to Francis Poulenc, Lauridsen, Bibiloni, Busto or Gjeilo. Regarding the choral symphonic repertoire, they highlight performances such as Jan Dismas Zelenka's Missa dei Filii, the J.M. Haydn's Honorem Sanctae Ursulae, George Frideric Handel's The Messiah and the Funeral Anthem for Queen Caroline, J.S. Bach's Cantata Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme BWV 140 or Camille Saint-Saëns's Oratorio de Noël. For choir and instrumental ensemble, as part of the Year of Llull 2016, they premiered the works Espurnes d'un somni d'amor and Cant de Ramon, by Majorcan composer Jaume Sampol based on texts by Ramon Llull. In terms of operatic production, they have premiered adaptations of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona (April 2019), W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte (March 2017), J. Offenbach's Orphée aux enfers and A. Sullivan's The Mikado. In the training field, five choral singing seminars have been held with prestigious directors with international impact: Javier Busto, Marco Antonio García de Paz, Josep Vila i Casañas, Albert Hera and Núria Fernández Herranz.
