The Baroque orchestra Le Buisson Prospérant consists of outstanding professional musicians, all of whom have orchestral experience and are also active as soloists. It was compiled in connection with the founding of the Bach Vespers of the Friedenskirche Bern in 1999 by Jörg Ulrich Busch. In 2005, the musicians were converted to historically mensurated instruments. Today, the orchestra accompanies both great symphonic choral works of Romantic era as well as Baroque cantatas and works of classical music under the direction of Jörg Ulrich Busch.
As part of the late summer concerts 2014 in the Fraumünster in Züich, the orchestra performed for the first time purely as a soloist under the direction of Hansjörg Albrecht from Munich with Metamorphoses by Richard Strauss and the Symphony in F minor by Walter Braunfels. |
