The French pianist, Marielle Gars, began her musical studies at the Conservatoire de Nîmes (30) and Romans (26) and then quickly joined the Cefedem, Conservatoire Régional de Lyon, where she improved in many areas: music history, aesthetics, analysis, harmony ... She won first prize in piano and chamber music, she has participated in numerous master-classes with Jean-Claude Pennetier, Roger Muraro, Teresa Hacuna, Hervé Billaut, Pascal Godart, Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat, Véronique Pélissero. More recently, she continued her instrumental training with the pianist and teacher Monique Discalced, a disciple of the pianists Alfred Cortot and Edwin Fischer.
Marielle Gars has appeared in various formations; collaborates with several performances combining music and dance in many venues in Lyon. She performs solo recitals and chamber music in Romans, Nimes, Lyon, Marseille, as well as training quintet in the PACA region around the music of Astor Piazzolla. She is a member of Duo Intermezzo.
