The Czech soprano, Pavla Radostová (Pája Radostová), has been singing since the age of 5 with the family ensemble Musica Laetitia, which is mainly devoted to Baroque music. She began her musical education at the Antonín Dvořák Music School in Lipník nad Bečvou, where she studied singing as well as piano. She then continued her vocal studies at the Brno Conservatory in the class of MgA. Blanka Morávková (Class of 2013), where she participated in Opera Studio projects. She is a graduate of the JAMU in Brno (2013-2018), where she studied with Natalia Romanová-Achaladze. During her studies, she regularly participated in Chamber Opera projects. In 2017, she won the 1st Prize at the internal competition of the Summer School of Baroque Music in Holešov. She extends her education by regular participation in singing courses and workshops (Summer School of Baroque Music, Summer Music Academy Kroměříž, and others) under the guidance of leading Czech and international tutors.
As an choir member and solo singer, Pavla Radostová regularly collaborates with acclaimed ensembles (Ensemble Opera Diversa (since 2014), Czech Ensemble Baroque (since July 2016), Tupá Šídla, Musica Laetitia, Collegium 1704 (since 2019), Ensemble Inégal (since 2017), Filharmonie Brno (since 2016), Brno Contemporary Orchestra (since 2016), Orchestr BERG (since June 2019), Musica Aeterna Bratislava (since 2016), etc.) and conductors (Alexander Liebreich, P. Veber, R. Válek, Václav Luks, P. Šnajdr, M. de Rose, G. Tardon, W. Herbers, D.R. Davies, etc.). In cooperation with them, she has also participated in the Czech and world premieres of several works (E.F. Burian. Tulev: So Shall He Descend, P. Hora: River Call, J. Bons: Thirty Situations, F.X. Richter: Super Flumina Babylonis, L. Nota: I am the Princess of Fools, and others.) In 2018, she made her debut as Barena in Leoš Janáček's Jenůfa at the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice. As a soloist, she has participated in the recording of several CDs (F.X. Richter: Super Flumina Babylonis; F.X. Richter: Te Deum; Musica Aeterna: Resonate et plaudite, …). Since 2023, she is also a member of Collegium Vocale Gent (Director: Philippe Herreweghe). She currently lives in Prague, Czech Republic. |
