Naoki Sasaki (Baritone, Conductor)

Born: November 1970 - Japan

The Japanase baritone, conductor, music teacher and reasercher, Naoki Sasaki [Jananese: 佐々木直樹], teaches vocal music. His specialization is German lieder and oratorios (religious music), but he also sings Japanese songs, songs from various countries, and opera arias. In vocal music classes, he provides instruction in a lesson format, tailored to each student's future aspirations and skill level. In choral classes, they work on performing various choral works from around the world in preparation for their annual concert.

Naoki Sasaki has Undergraduate degree from Shimane University Department of Arts and Expression Education, Music Education Major; Graduate degree from Graduate School of Education (Teacher Training Graduate School), Part-time Faculty Member Specialization and Keywords: Vocal Music (Solo, Choral, Opera, Vocal Technique, Choral Conducting, etc.); Current Research Fields/Themes; As part of vocal performance techniques, he researches expressive methods for lieder and singing techniques for opera and oratorios. In recent years, he has focused on research into vocal techniques applicable to various musical genres, as well as choral expression and teaching methods.
