The German tenor, Simon Bode, received at an early age his first violin and piano lessons. At the age of 16 he moved to singing. Since 2002 he has studied with Professor Charlotte Lehmann; since 2005 as a student at the Musikhochschule in Hannover. He won several times at "Jugend musiziert" in the category solo singing and received the prestigious "Sikorski-Gedächtnispreis" of the Deutschen Stiftung Musikleben. He also received a special award and a scholarship grant from Kaminsky-Stiftung.
Simon Bode gives regular concerts throughout Germany. He was a soloist at various productions and was invited to appear at music festivals with major orchestras and on radio. During the "Festival Herrenhausen" he sang his first Mozart opera, and he also performed various minor roles at the Staatsoper Hannover. |
