Frank Bossert (Tenor)

Born: Pforzheim, Germany

The German tenor, Frank Bossert, studied studied music in Karlsruhe at Fächern School for Music and Music Science. He studied singing there with K.D. Kern, followed by studies with K.H. Jarius, R. Piernay and Elsa Cavelti.

Apart from the co-operation with different opera productions, Frank Bossert has sung, among other things, as Iwanov in Lortzing’s Zar und Zimmermann, as Wentzel in Smetana’s Bartered Bride and as Orfeo in Monteverdi’s Orfeo.

Apart from opera, Frank Bossert is also a concert singer. As a member of the New Vocal Soloists Stuttgart he has participated in numerous performances of moden music. He is also interested in teaching. Since October 1996 he is lecturer for performig singing at the College of Music Stuttgart.
