Dantes Diwiak (Tenor)

Born: Slovenia

The Slovenian tenor, Dantes Diwiak, grew up in Germany and enjoyed musical education early with his father. When he was 12 years old he became Saarland-Vizemeister (vice-master) in the classical accordion. After finishing high-school, followed singing studies with Professor Klaus Kirchner and opera studies at Hochschule für Musik with Professor Theo Altmeier.

After the state examination and several master-classes, Dantes Diwiak became the winner of important competitions and got engagements with the opera houses of Bremen and Oldenburg. Numerous recordings preserve the productive variety of his musical work.
