The German tenor, Maximilian Fieth, has been playing music with enthusiasm since his earliest childhood and found his love for classical music. At the age of 17 he joined the Domkantorei Köln, whose conductor Winfried Krane supported him significantly and enabled him to take his first singing lessons with Ingeborg Schilling at the Musikschule des Kölner Domchores. has been studying singing with Professor Brigitte Lindner at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln since 2014.
Through numerous projects with sacred music in various churches, including numerous German cathedrals (e.g. Köln, Altenberg, Essen, Aachen, Würzburg or Speyer) and other large churches, Maximilian Fieth has already been able to make the sacred repertoire a focus of his musical work. Concert tours have taken him to Israel, Russia, Norway, Spain, Italy, France, England and the Netherlands, as well as to numerous cities in Germany. In 2018 there were more concerts in Norway, among others. Since 2015, he has taken part in master-classes with Klesie Kelly-Moog, Thomas J. Maier, Juanit Lascarro, Brigitte Lindner and Matthias Wierig have complemented his training so far. Lessons from Boris Leisenheimer round off his musical education. In 2019 he was a scholarship holder of the Fritz-Wunderlich-Gesellschaft and from March 2020 to July 2021 he was a scholarship holder of the Chor-Akademie des WDR Rundfunkchor Köln.
Maximilian Fieth was also able to expand his repertoire in the field of opera and operetta; Among other things, in operetta concerts in the Stadthalle Wuppertal, in opera productions such as L'elisir d'amore, W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte or Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor at theaters such as Solingen or Bad Lauchstädt, as well as at operetta evenings in the Stadthalle Wuppertal.
The Lieder is also one of the tenor's hobbies. He has always been particularly fond of the Romantic and late Romantic composers. He works in a duo with the pianist Alexander Breitenbach. With his duo partner Dominik Tukaj (organ) he took part in the Internationalen Orgel-Gesang- Wettbewerb.
Ever since he began his studies, Maximilian Fieth has repeatedly been a guest with ensembles such as the WDR Rundfunkchor Köln, Kammerchor Stuttgart (Director: Frieder Bernius), ChorWerk Ruhr (Director: Florian Helgath), Rheinische Kantorei (Director: Hermann Max) and Kölner Akademie (Director: Michael Willens). |
