Maria Paula Gómez (Soprano)

Born: Colombia

The Colombian soprano, María Paula Gómez, is a graduated from the Universidad Central (UC) and a finalist for the City of Bogotá Singing Award 2020. She was a scholarship holder of the Master Classes program of the XIII Cartagena International Music Festival, she participated in the first Intensive Study of Lyrical Singing at the Universidad de los Andes and in the 44th edition of the Oratorio and Cantata Interpretation Course in Poland.

María Paula Gómez is a member of the Coro Filarmónico Juvenil. She has played roles in productions by the UC Opera Workshop, Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, and Orquesta Filarmónica Juvenil. She has participated in the works as Monteverdi L'Orfeo (as La Música), Steven Stucky's The Classical Style: An Opera (of Sorts) and in Alessandro Scarlatti's Tolomeo (as Elisa).
