Susanne Gorzny (Soprano)

Born: Berlin, Germany

The German soprano, Susanne Gorzny, gained her first choral and solo experience in the Domchor und im Ensemble für Alte Musik at the St. Hedwigskathedrale in Berlin. She received her vocal training with Heinz Hirsch in Magdeburg), with Gertrud Günther in Dresden and with Hannerose Katterfeld in Berlin.

In addition to her membership in the Vocalconsort labia vocalia and the Magdeburger Kammerchor, Susanne Gorzny has unfolded an active concert career as a soloist and in various other ensembles, mainly concerned with early music. She participated as a soloist on several CD recordings, such as the premiere recording of all Georg Philipp Telemann's motets by the Magdeburger Kammerchor on Raum-Klang label.

Susanne Gorzny is also working as a music teacher and therapist.
