Klas Hedlund (Tenor)

Born: Sweden

The Swedish tenor, Klas Hedlund, studied at Operastudio-67 and at the National College of Opera.

Klas Hedlund's debut came in the 1991-1992 season when he performed the role of Alfred in the Stockholm Folkopera production of Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. During the same season he also sang Tamino in The Magic Flute, both at the Malmö City Theatre and at the Royal Stockholm Opera. During the 1993-1994 season he sang Nero in The Coronation of Poppea at Norrlandsoperan and Riccardo in Il Triomfo dell’onore in Liège and Trento.
