Marion E. Herbst (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Marion E. Herbst, completed her vocal studies at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Heidelberg - Mannheim with Professor Ramirez and with Professor Vera Scherr. She joined an art education with a focus on early music and oratorio at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Heidelberg with Gerd Türk.

Since 1994 Marion E. Herbst has worked as a singing teacher, since 1998 at the Aufbaugymnasium in Michelbach/Bilz. Her artistic achievements include concerts in Germany and abroad, mostly with oratorios of J.S. Bach, George Frideric Handel, Haydn, Camille Saint-Saëns and others, but also Lieder recitals, successful participation in various competitions as well as CD, radio and TV recordings with various ensembles (such as Schola Heidelberg, Ensemble Officium, Banda Lira, Opernchor of the Theater in Pfalzbau).
