Birgit Huber (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Landshut, Bavaria, Germany

The German mezzo-soprano, Birgit Huber-Klein, studied at the Hochschule für Katholische Kirchenmusik Regensburg, and continued her concert singing studies in Stuttgart with Sigrid Kessler-Retzler. She won the Jugendkultur Prize of Rotary Clubs in her city Landshut in 1989.

Birgit Huber is engaged as soloist in oratorios and Lieder, such as at the Schloss Elmau. She is a member of the SWR Vocal Ensemble since 1990
