Rachel Knappenberger (Soprano)

Born: January 5, 2003 - Macungie, suburb of Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA

The American soprano, Rachel Knappenberger, is a sophomore voice performance major (since July 2021) studying with Heidi Grant-Murphy. In the 2021-2022 season, she was featured in the IU Jacobs Opera Theater choruses of W.A. Mozart's The Magic Flute and H.M.S. Pinafore; in November 2022, she was Dew Fairy in their production of Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel. She was Cantor at St John's United Church of Christ Emmaus, Pennsylvania (April 2020-July 2021); and since August 2002, she is Choral Scholar at Trinity Episcopal Church Bloomington. She currently lives in Downtown Bloomington.
