Louis Landuyt (Baritone)

Born: Belgium

The Belgian baritone, Landuyt Louis, started his career at the Opéra de Wallonie, the Koninklijke Muntschoubrug in Brussels, Koninnklijke Opera in Gent and the Opera in Antwerp.

Landuyt Louis worked for five years in Germany at the Wuppertal Opera and performed at the operas of Dortmund and Saarbrücken and at the the Jugendfestspeiele in Bayreuth. He was a regular guest of the FvVlaanderen, the Opera of Flanders and the Opera in Liège. In the Netherlands he sang in the Opera in Amsterdam at the Holland Festival and for the Dutch television. He is often a guest in France and has worked with conductors such as Alan Curtis, Jos van Immerseel, Emmerich Smola, Michel Plasson, Marek Janowski and Daniel Barenboim.
