The Brazilian counter-tenor, Sérgio Anders M Miranda, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from UFMG - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1997-2000); and his LM degree in Voice from UFMG - Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, specializating in Brazilian Art Song (2001- 2003). He moved to the USA, where he obtained his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from University of North Dakota (2009-2010), and since 2011 pursuing his Doctor of Music in Early Music Voice at Indiana University: Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington.
