Elena Pérez (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: San Felipe, Chile

The Chilean mezzo-soprano, Elena Pérez Hidalgo, studied at the Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Chile, pursuing a degree in Musical Performance - with a mention in Singing.

Elena Pérez has performed as a vocal soloist with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Santiago, Orquesta de Cámara de Chile, Chile, Orquesta Clásica de Santiago and the musicians of the Bach Santiago program of the Instituto de Música de la Pontificia Universidad Católica, among other groups. She is currently a member of the Coro de Madrigalistas de la Universidad de Santiago, and the Camerata Vocal & Coro Sinfónico, both artistic groups of the Universidad de Chile.
