Bernadette Sialm (Soprano)

Born: Switzerland

The Swiss soprano, Bernadette Sialm, studied music and solo singing at the Musikhochschule Basel and in 2000 acquired the concert diploma. Subsequently, she continued her studies with Professor Beata Heuer-Christen in Freiburg im Breisgau. A Promotion contribution of the Kulturkommission Aarau enabled her opera studies at the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater Bern, which she likewise finished with the concert diploma.

Already during her studies Bernadette Sialm received engagements at the Stadttheater Bern, Biel, Solothurn, at the Opernstudio Basel as well as at the Konzerthaus Freiburg im Breisgau. As a soloist she has appeared in oratorios, contemporary works, and Lieder recitals in Switzerland and abroad.
