Eeva Tenkanen (Soprano)

Born: Finland

The Finnish soprano, Eeva Tenkanen, studied singing at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki; then spent a year at in Switzerland as a member of the International Opera Studio in Zürich.

Eeva Tenkanen's ebganents have led her to the Landestheater Detmold and Saarländische Staatstheater Saarbrücken. Her repertoire covers all the important roles for lyric operatic soprano, including Alcina, Alcina, Marie (Die verkaufte Braut), Micaela, Frau Fluth and Ann Trulove.. As an oratorio soloist and Lieder singer she has appeared in in Belgium, Germany, Israel, Italy and Switzerland.
