Elżbieta Towarnicka (Soprano)

Born: Poland

The Polish soprano, Elżbieta Towarnicka, co-operating with the Cracow Opera has played leading soprano roles in La Boheme, La Traviata, Les Pecheurs des Perles, Tosca, Orfeo ed Euridice, Dido and Aeneas, Der Freischütz, King Roger and Rigoletto. She has taken part in many music festivals in Poland and abroad, including: Warsow Autumn, Wratislavia Cantans, Music in Old Cracow. She has performed in Germany, ltaly, France, Russia, Greece, Sweden, Belgium, Holland, England, Canada, Argentina and USA.

In addition to opera parts, Elżbieta Towarnicka's repertoire includes oratorio-cantata parts and songs. She was also awarded a prize at the first Adam Didur Vocal Competition.

ElżbietaTowarnicka also takes part in recording sessions for Polskie Nagrania and for film sound tracks.
