William Wallace (Tenor)

Born: England

The English tenor, William Wallace, obtained his Bachelors in Natural Sciences from Durham University (2007-2010); his Masters in Entomology from Imperial College London (2010-2011). He left a burgeoning career in Entomology to take up a place at the Royal College of Music where he currently studies for Masters of Performance degree under the direction of Tim Evans-Jones and Chris Glynn (2013-2015).

Performances include the roles of Tybalt in Charles Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet (Bearwood Opera, 2014), Gastone in Verdi’s La Traviata (Euphonia 2014) and the 2nd Priest in W.A. Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Royal College of Music International Opera School, 2014). His oratorio performances include Felix Mendelssohn’s Elijah (Wells Cathedral, 2015), George Frideric Handel’s Theodora (Penzance, Cornwall, 2014) and J.S. Bach's Cantatas, Magnificats and Passions. In the coming months (2015) he will be singing in the chorus for G.F. Handel’s Giove in Argo for London Handel Festival and Don Ottavio in W.A. Mozart’s Don Giovanni for Euphonia productions at the Rye Festival.
