The American soprano, Eliza Woodyard, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from New Mexico State University; and her Master of Music degree from University of Northern Colorado (2014).
Eliza Woodyard has been an active soloist in the Pacific Northwest since 2014. Recent performances include Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel (Gretel) and The Tales of Hoffmann: The Doll Act (Olympia) with Northwest Opera In Schools, Etc, La rondine (Yvette) with Puget Sound Concert Opera, W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (Erste Knabe) with Opera Classica Europa, The Ballad of Baby Doe (Silver Dollar) with Opera Fort Collins, and the world premieres of Michel Edward's War Symphony and André van Haren's Spirit Painting with Octava Chamber Orchestra. Additionally she is a member of the Seattle Opera Chorus and has appeared in their productions of Nabucco, Georges Bizet's The Pearl Fishers, The Flying Dutchman, and Aïda. She is also Soprano at Premier Vocal Entertainment (since December 2016); Soprano at Mägi Ensemble (since November 2018); Soprano Section Leader at St. James Cathedral in Seattle (since July 2019). She is married to the baritone Revere Taylor (since 2015), and currently lives in Seattle, Washington. |
