Instructions for Download Capella files

The files can't be opened in the browser. Please download the files and open them with Capella or the Capella Reader (Free Download). The download and installation of Capella Reader should be done only once.

After the download and installion of Capella Reader are complete, please open each Capella file (.cap) stored at your computer, using the option of 'open with' > capella 2004.

Copyright and Terms of Use

The Capella files presented at the BCW are from Tobi's Notenarchiv, with the permission of the owner.

The music files on the Bach Cantatas Website (BCW) is based on the Capella collection and consists of privately-owned material and material contributed by Capella-Software GmbH. These music files are intellectual property of the composers and the editors. The files may be downloaded and used for private or ecclesiastical non-commercial purposes. Sound (MIDI) files may be played back for listening. If your rights have been breached, especially the copyright, please send me a short message and the work will be removed. This is a private non-commercial collection.
