Ernst Christian Crusius (Bach's Pupil)

Born: October 16, 1722 - Allerstedt, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
Died: July 25, 1744 - Leipzig, Saxony, Germany

Ernst Christian Crusius was born the son of Christian Crusius (Pastor in Allerstedt). He enrolled at the Thomasschule in Leipzig on February 5, 1736; studied there from 1736 to 1744, since September 17, 1735 already as external. He died as alumnus. Although he attended the Thomasschule during J.S. Bach's tenure, it is not known if he actually studied with him.
